DENZIOT Productions, a production and distribution company owned by Desmond and Victoria Elliot, has acquired the distribution rights for the flick, When One Door Closes.
Produced by Dr. Kulah, Van Vicker and Robert Peters, When One Door Closes tells the story of love, struggle and triumph. It also deals with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and issues faced by Africans living in the Diaspora.
When One Door Closes has been nominated for Best Film and Best Director at the Golden ICONS Awards (GIAMA). It has also been awarded a screening at the San Diego Black Film Festival and nominated for Best Film, Best Drama, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress awards.
The movie, which will be released in April in Nigeria, was acquired as part of a new initiative by Desmond and Victoria Elliot to distribute quality and exclusive Nollywood Diaspora films for Nigeria.
In addition, Denziot Productions will also distribute Faces of Love, a film by Robert Peters and Monica Omorodion Swaida.
According to Kulah, “If you want to experience what your sisters/brothers in the Diaspora are going through, then, you will love the new wave of African films that is being produced in the Diaspora- and it is to this new wave that this movie belongs.”
The movie, directed by former Nollywood star, Robert Peters, stars the likes of Van Vicker, Hollywood actor, Carl Payne and Chet Anekwe.
